What rear end comes stock?

No 9?

AH, the lovely mustang questions w/ the 5.0's ive built way to many.

9 is close but wrong they come factory w/ an 8.8 rearend w/ 3.27 gears. You can get an upgraded 9" rearend w/ the currin stage 1 application but this is not very popular in a foxbody due to weight & the 8.8 is more reliable, most 9" rearends are in the 94-95 5.0's and 96 & up w/ the 4.6 liter motors, anything else you would like to know?

and at the end of the day its still a mustang

8.8's also came with 2.73 or 3.08 gears.
94 and up mustangs have never had a 9" rear

wow ur cool talking shit when i wasnt, i was stating info, and they have had 9" rears considering my 03 cobra came w/ one factory thanks have a great day. and they also came w/ 3.27 gears factory a 2.73 gear was in the lx not the GT, he has a GT. They may have the same motor but gears are different in the GT's and LX's. So why do you feel the need to talk shit? I worked in a shop that does nothing but tune mustangs and race mustangs.
