| | Wanna help with my b18c1 turbo build Alright I am a newbie to the import scene I gave up my 03 cobra TT and my 04 Cobra KB for my honda and honestly loving it! But here we go after having that kinda horsepower on my Cobras (742hp-1003hp) I am looking to turn my all motor GSR to a low compression Turbo. The question is what route do I go?????? There are so many ways I am looking for a everyday driver in the 10's I dunno if I am dreaming or not I don't want to go spend
10k on a motor when I can get same results cheaper! I am originally from Tx. Houston Shop will run 5500 NC shop will run 10k or more! Anyone help me out with what I need! I am going to Japan for 4 months so maybe I can get parts cheaper over there! Please Help Out with this Build! Thamx CH! |

| | Hate to burst your bubble, but your expectations are high, go back to the cobras, beautiful cars, great tone, while your in Japan you can leave the snakes at my house. |

| | first, i'd think about going with a boosted ls-v instead of a boosted gsr... just a thought
but this list is pretty much universal... just apply to your specific setup bro
1) go with a full-race turbo setup (or something similar), and a garrett gt35r turbo (or something similar)
2) aem engine management system
3) sleeve your block with high tensile strength (depending out hp goals)
4) get some forged h-beams shot peened rods (eagle)
5) knife edged crank (eagle crank)
6) good oil pan (morosso or such)
7) aluminum radiator and slim fan (fluidyne or mishimoto)
8) if you are going to sleeve your block and whatnot for high hp goals go with stg. 2 or stg. 3 all motor cams (crower, sk2, buddy club, jun, etc.) [all motor cams + boost = amazing] if not go with like stg. 2 turbo cams
9) get some sort of aftermarket intake mani with nice sized plenum (eldebrock, venom, str, etc.)
10) forged pistons (jg)
11) port and polish your head
12) ferrera valve train
13) ferrera bronze valve guides
14) 68mm or larger throttle body
14) port match your stuff
15) get an Aeromotive a1000 fuel pump (or walbro 255cc depending on hp goals)
16) some sort of injectors (depending on hp gains... rc, bosch, etc.)
can't really think of much right now bc i am sitting in the E.R. on my laptop, but just get all your shit right the first time so you don't end up just wasting more money having to re-buy

16) some sort of injectors (depending on hp gains... rc, bosch, etc.) | 2) most cant afford 1000 plus just for aem not including tuning
5) not needed..stock crank can do all your needs, knife can cause problems with oil feed..
6) ??? why not use stock.
8) why would they make turbo cams..and then u use all motor cams lol
14) waste of ur time..and money in carbide bits
15) a1000 to 255cc is like comparing stock sohc to ls7
good list just not very good lol
