He could have been looking for a car to repo it. People will do anything to hide their cars once people know it's about to get taken back. He probably thought you spray bombed it in order to hide it.

yea dude, I would have called the cops RIGHT then saying someone is trying to steal my car and blocked them in and wrote down their tags.
