Welp, it finally happened to me. I totalled my 99 hatch tonight. Partout begins tomorrow once i get a list of good parts left and how much i want for everything. Motor is deffinetly going to be for sale, mild built GSR for anyone possibly interested, full details when i make the thread.

Basically the road was wet and i came over a curve i was very familiar with, and i came over it and was slightly in the left lane and seen a car coming not far from me so i swerved hard to get back into my lane which was dumb but it was a quick reaction and it was right in the apex of the curve, went completely sideways and slid across a muddy front yard and hit 3 trees along the way stopping just short of hitting the front of these peoples house.

Came out with minor cuts and bruises, leg and backs really sore but itll be worse tomorrow, thankful to be alive.


Figured I would share with you guys, be very careful when roads are wet, anything can happen at any time.

Cluster is already out with alot of most of the other interior parts. Yeah i sold the integra awhile back for $6k couldnt blame me, and picked this up for a decent price from a friend...

No full coverage. Just gotta pay a $120 ticket for exceeding the safe speed limit for the given conditions (raining)

People werent upset about the yard, im not dead, small ticket to pay.. Hopefully the money from the suspension parts & motor and interior pay for me a new car.

Suspension is SRR LCA's (fairly rare) comptech 22mm sway and tie bar and buddy club N+ spec coilovers.


Its a really rough feeling to be sliding uncontrollably stairing at trees coming at your door and a house in the distance as well, ill never go above the speed limit no matter what ever again, i wasnt going much over it at all, but it was plenty anough speed for how i had to jerk the car to do what was done. Once again people who havent had this happen, be careful.. I thought it would never happen.

Anyone know what you got to do with a car's title when you part it completely out down to bare ass metal and then scrap the car, either at a scrap yard or just leave it setting somewhere on a personal property? I know something has to be done about it but I cant exactly remember what it is that is required when salvaging parts from a vehicle, turn the title over to the DMV or what but if someone knows let me know, im just gonna take it down to nothing at all left and sell the frame to a scrap yard for like 5 bucks probably. I wont be able to stand to look at it probably.
