that figures. i figured it was some no name test driver that was super good that made more money test driving than he ever could racing. i just completely ruled out top shelf ex f1 drivers because of money, but i guess BBC can afford Schumacher. No wonder no one can beat his times, it's fucking Michael Schumacher. you might as well be racing a ghost cause you have no chance of victory.

I don't think he is really the Stig. I think it was a prank that Schumacher played along with. I doubt if they'll ever really reveal who the Stig is until he retires (like the first one). Why would they, it has to be one of the best kept secrets to date!

I'd have to agree. The reveal is the kind of thing you do when the show is starting to tank and you've got to play all your cards. They're not at that point.

I saw the quick shot on sunday when they put it on Youtube. It seems it was some what of a joke some think, and Schumacher isnt the stig. He was listed as "Speacial Guest" while in the credits the Stig was credited separately as "himself" as usual. Also, Jeremy made a comment "Are you sure he is the stig" after a few elementary mistakes Schumacher made on the test track. I think Schumacher is good enough of a driver to be the stig, but I am not completely sure.

I think that he was just the stig for that show. Schumacher is a test driver for Ferrari. I think the only reason they let the Ferrari FXX on the show is if he drove it.
