Default Nhan's 2005 RSX-S

This is one of the newest cars I've done in awhile. Nhan wanted ALL the bases covered on his car.

Installed were:

Viper 5901
Tilt sensor
Backup Battery
Audio sensor
Motion Sensor

The Audio sensor detects the sound of breaking glass. So, if someone were to smash the window, this sensor would detect it and trigger the alarm, sending a message to his keypad. This allows the shock sensor to be set at a more reasonable level lo it won't be going off all the time.

Also, the motion sensor:

detects anyone reaching into the car. Lets say Nhan leaves his window cracked at work to allow a breeze into his car. If someone reaches in or tries to throw something into the car, this senses it and triggers that alarm.

One cool thing about this kind of newer car is that it comes with a factory security system. In this install, it is still hooked up. Basically, it's kind of like having two alarms in the car.

Enjoy....

This sensor is tuned to the frequency of breaking glass. You could set off an airhorn and it won't pick it up. It only detects higher frequencies.

Vouch for Alan for having some good skills on alarm systems...seeing his list of project cars were mostly OBD1 type, I figured handing him my RSX would get him scratching his head but proved me wrong. but yea definitely would be a repeat customer since i don't know much about electrical/audio...overall im happy with the alarm and the customer service(took about an hour to explain every issue and questions before and after installation).

well i had the idea of getting the alarm system way back then when i bought the car, now knowing how K-series are being sought after for their potential and decided it was priority over other plans for the car. The day has come for low-life thieves to start stealing k-series more often.....
