I took a roadtrip to CLT this morning to Ross's parent's place. They had a gargage, he had a hatch, and I had an alarm with his name on it.
The hatchness:
It's a basic Python 460hp. It's a basic alarm that senses if someone open's a door, the hatch, and I added a hoodpin so if someone pops the hood it goes into full trigger. I'm not going to post underhood shots (asked not to). I had weird lighting under the dash and the only decent pic si got was this:
Not really much to see. I buried the brain high up in the dash and tied it to some of the steel bracing. All the wires were loomed up, so tracing it back is going to be difficult for anyone trying to do so. Ross wasn't there, so I made it easy for him to adjust the sensitivity to his liking. I'm sure it will be high for the first few weeks. I also added the 451m for him to add the actuators later on down the road for power locks.
I flush mounted the LED in a knockout. Makes it super clean and very noticeable at night. This is as much as anyone will get to see.
Anyways, it was fun being out of town, but I'm tired of driving for one day. Ross's mom was cool and made some great coffee. Over all, a cool experience.
