Occasionaly I have a used alarm for sale, and it's NOT very often. After I put the alarm in my eg hatch, I had the Python 460 just chillin in my toolbox.

Knowing Logan is cool people, I figured he could put it to use. He wanted it, but with a few more parts added for some extra security.

I had him order a DEI 507m tilt sensor and a DEI 520T backup battery. I hooked up his power door locks, so now he has keyless entry. We threw in a relay for a fuel pump kill and did the starter wire as well. Along with the siren going off, his highbeams flash when fully triggered, and stay on for 30 seconds when he get out the car. A cool feature at night in a dark parking lot.

There really is'nt much to show because it's such a simple install. The tilt sensor goes off before the front wheel even comes off the ground, which both of us were pleased with. We spent some time cleaning off the door triggers (and he now has a working dome light...lol). I had a spare hoodpin and installed that for him. Pop the hood, and before you can lift it all the way the alarm goes off.

All in all, this is a really nice little setup. It's not the monsterous full blown deal that I normally do, but for someone who wants some solid security without the usual hefty pricetag, this install fit the bill perfectly.

u should start popping off the red led cover and just use the tiny led inside.

i know uve done it. smaller hole, and its hella brighter.

HOLY CRAP VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!! you scared the life out of me. I was scanning the forums and seen "Logz GSR Teg" in the ganked section and i thought Someone got him. Damn that scared me. But Im glad hes got an alarm on that thing now, god knows we all need about 5 of these on our cars lol.
