Default JDMspeedster's 2000 ek Hatch.....with new pics!!!1

I love the Ek hatch body. Simply beautiful, and lol, the ONLY honda I have'nt owned yet. Daniel contacted me and said he was about to get serious and get the body/paint right and he wanted it safe before he dropped it off. Daniel also wanted me to add power locks....no problem. He brought it to me last week and told me to have at it.

The hatch:

The final install:

Daniel got the usual:

-Clifford 50.5X 2 way alarm with 2 way 1 mile paging
-DEI 520t back up battery
-DEI 507m tilt sensor
-DEI 451m relay for door lock actuators
-2 door locks actuators (normally I use DEI 524n's or 524t's but no one in town had ANY in stock)
-5 relays- 1 for headlight flash -1 for horn honk -1 for ecu kill -1 for fuel pump kill and -1 for alarm disarm output.

Now, like I said, the car came without power locks and he wanted them so.....

I pulled the door panel off:

Removed a factory piece (maybe where the factory actuator would go):

I mounted the actuator on the mounting strap that is supplied and screwed it to the door. The steel rod has to run straight and parallel with the factory rod:

Making sure the actuator will clear the door panel:

Solered and taped the wires up and ran them along the door panel, duct taping them in place. Doing this prevents and wires from being caught in window tracks or mechanisms:

Run the wires through the door jamb:

Loom and run it into the car:

And from there I wired it into the alarm. The alarm is the "standard" stealth write up as usual. Daniel requested no engine bay pics to be shown, so, thats why there are none.

Enjoy!

VegaS10 did a great job on the alarm install. Very knowledgeable about the system and always willing to go that extra mile. I am loving my new alarm system BTW!
