| | If Ihad known about the pink one, I would have gotten it. I'm all about some charity. I may have put it on my wife's car though.
Yeah, the relays built in the brain REALLY sucked on this install. I like the relay packs better, especially under cramped dashes when you have to mount the brain one place and the relay pack elsewhere. |

| | Looks good dude! I still have yet to install one of these at work. How do you like it compared to the 990/5900 ect. |

| | Range sucks compared to the 990/5900.
I wish I could move the LED elsewhere.
The relays being built into the bigger brain sucks. In a standard installation like we do at work, it wouldn't be an issue. But when you want to put the brain elsewhere it becomes a shitty situation.
I do love the keypads though. I've only had to replace the keypad batteries once since the install compared to monthly in the 990/5900.
I'm very happy with the alarm.
Have you seen the replacement one for this though? DEI 5702 or something like that. It has a large lcd display now... |

| | the 5901 is the viper model with the lcd screen. and you can move the led. your talking about from the antenna right? you just leave the one that comes with it unplugged and plug in a standard one and put it wherever you want it. same with valet switch.

If it is then dei ended up sending the dude a 990 brain and what not to replace it because of all the problems. Didn't like that system at all. |
