What: Put a drivetrain in a '93 Civic 4-door. That's the main thing. Also put some brakes on it, replace a few wheel studs, gut the interior, whatever else it takes to get it ready to run. The motor is built and the transmission is ready to go in the car. The car currently has no motor or transmission. I'll be providing food (probably donuts in the morning and pizza later for anyone that sticks around) and drinks (sodas and water). We'll have power and a compressor and an engine lift and some tools, but bring your own if you have them. This car will be a budget endurance racer for the 24 hours of LeMons series; please see my thread in Off Topic if you want to learn more about it.
Where:
TBD, someone's garage in the Raleigh area, still deciding, PM me if you want to come and I'll get back to you with the address.
When: Sunday (7/5/9) morning, probably 10-ish, none of us are morning people. I don't anticipate this taking a long time as we should have three people with tools who know what they are doing there, but could use some extra hands.
Please let me know via PM if you are coming so I can send you the address and get enough food/drinks for everyone.
