Dealer when I can, more and more parts are discontinued for my car from them though. If not there I move on to the local auto parts shore chains.

I buy from parts outs prelude after market/oem type sites and honda when possible. Also prefer to buy from other forum members when practicle.
Oil, wiper blades and stuff like that at advance due to proximity.

My buddy on here, D Ray introduced me to Napa for axles. They have the best Axles in my experience and a killer no questions asked warranty. Gasket kits and all that regular maintenance stuff I try to buy big kits with all OEM parts from ebay. I like doing the whole motor at once, including front and rear main seals and spark plug tube seals, every gasket and seal except the head. I just make sure its all actual OEM with red stickers and Honda part numbers. I look for sellers who are dealerships. I stay away from sellers who have half OEM and half bob's brand BS. I also stay away from guys that don't list every part number. I have never had to buy an alternator but the 97 LX sedan I used to have had a bob's brand BS one and it seemed alright. I believe it was a Duralast. The previous owner put it on. I also used a duralast Thermostat in it as well as Duralast axles. I was flipping it though. Anything I plan to keep gets NAPA axles and OEM everything else. Kinda Anal I know, but I had alot of bad experience with OEM alternative stuff on my old Ford and Oldsmobile stuff. Of course OEM probably would have sucked for those vehicles anyway now that I think about it.

I buy from O'Reilly or online because O'Reilly has good prices and is near me and some things I can get better deals online.
