Yeah the HX's are on the black car. The silver one is in excellent condition, except for a few spots where the silver paint is chipping and you can see the Milano Red underneath.

Ironically, I parked my black car in the yard so we could put a strut bar in my friend's hatch in my garage, and the ground is so soggy that my car is now stuck in the mud...

:banghead: :Owned:

Hey I thought I saw a pic of your car a while back with a CF trunk... was that yours?

trrstr, Welcome! I'm glad that i'm actually getting a response in here.

The other Doug.... man the last time i remember seeing your car at a TSC meet was in Winston at the Marketplace Mall. I don't remember it having a CF trunk lid then, but i thought i saw a pic of it in your signature somewhere... the last TSC site probably.

As far as the mud, I waited a few days for it to dry up a little bit, backed up a few inches and gave it hell. Pulled right out of it. Really just got the wheels and the wheel wells a little muddy. I really didn't try too hard to get her out the first time. As soon as I realized the tires were spinning in the mud, I let go, waited for a while.

As far as my girlfriend driving her car to the meet... we'll have to see. She somehow has made it to almost 20 without ever needing a license! Man did you know at the DMV on the written test they ask you crap like "What percentage of drunk drivers are killed in accidents each year?" I'm so thrilled that our state would rather you know that, instead of requiring you to understand how a four-way stop works.

By the way, I got a new girlfriend just over a year ago. Just letting you know so you don't get confused (my ex-g/f drove to the last meet).

/<ewl, well I'm glad you got your car out okay... that sounds like the best approach anyway... as far as the trunklid, I'm pretty sure I had it back then, but yea I have the same pic from the back angle for SuperHonda and SolSociety as well as my old TSC sig. Oh okay I thought she drove, but didn't have a sol...congrats on the new model
I'm gonna try and install my civic lip this next weekend...and some new ebay 1-piece headlights... I've got my friend from Sanford helping me out (he knows cars, but is not too familiar with hondas) I'll let you know how it goes...maybe pics!

Old g/f = drove, but no Sol
New g/f = Sol, but doesn't drive :-P just to clear that up. (and much better personality too!)

Yeah, anyway, the CF trunk lid looks great. I know I have seen it in a sig somewhere. Badass.

I wanna see how those 1-piece headlights look as soon as you get them! Are you getting the chrome or the black housing? I want black housing lights for mine, but i want the 2-piece model with amber corners. I can't seem to find the amber corners on eBay though. I saw them on one dude's Sol, and it was sweet! It may have been a custom spray-paint-on-the-outer-lens-cover kinda deal.

Civic lip = beautiful. I have heard that they are quite a tight fit though, so have fun putting it on! Be careful when navigating driveways and steep inclines, because supposedly you can crack it severely if you aren't careful!

Someone offered me some nice rims for a really nice price today.... so IF they aren't all beat up, there's a slim chance I may get them. I'll keep you posted.

I went with the black chrome housing, but they don't look as black as they did in the ebay pic anyway they still look pretty good and with the clear lenses i'll probably get better light output.
I got the 99-00 civic si lip for a steal (shipping was more than the lip) so if, I mean when, I scrape it up on driveways and inclines it won't be too bad to replace...Its ABS plastic, so I figure it will be kinda durable, hopefully less cracking, more scraping...

I found these... ebay amber corner lights ...with a quick search (I'm not sure if that's what your looking for)
and these... ebay 1-piece with amber corners I've seen a pic with these installed and they looked pretty nice... I'll definately post some pics when I get mine on

so what rims are you looking at now? are you one of those wheel whores who change out every few months?! I say keep the HXs, but paint em black to match...but I'm biased, I have black wheels :P

Yeah, I saw those lenses last night when I started snooping around ebay, but I have to take care of some other things before I can buy the lights. :-(

As far as the rims... I can't say just yet. Everybody has these rims anyway. (No, I'm not talking about Motegi MR7's) It's a very slim chance, and I may change my mind, but there's a chance that it might be kind of a surprise.

No, I can't bring myself to paint the HX's black! I like the way they look stock, and i don't like the way they look black. Maybe if the spokes were thicker... but I just like how they look now. :-P I've got some pics somewhere... somewhere.
