Yea I getcha .. I still woulda personally ditched the cap and did something between shock towers but good work none the less buddy

He insisted on keeping the capacitor because it helped with the dimming lights when bass notes hit. Not so sure how true that is but yeah. I'm with you about saving space with a smaller box but he wanted this setup so I can't persuade him otherwise. Thanks for the compliment.

Lol I know how that goes .. but hes got an issue somewhere if hes dimming lights with that pos amp .. I ran a AQ2200d at 1ohm (2200 rms or more ) plus my aura 6x75rms on nothing but a xs piwer d5100r on a stock gsr alternator no big 3 or nothin and only had slight dimming well past my normal LOUD listening levels .. usually only when the fan heat lights and wipers were all on ... but his ride let him be the cool kid with a cap lol .. btw what kind of glue do you use for carpeting? .. im gonna one day build an amp rack and want it carpeted but never carpeted jack shit lol

haha....yeah if it was up to me, I would remove the capacitor as well. For the glue, I used Loctite adhesive spray (readily available at Walmart). I have used 3M brand before but it doesn't hold well....plus it cost more.

Awesome .. appreciate it buddy .. the 3m stuff I used once sucked ass and tbe guy said that was the best they had ... fail lol

I believe the 3M cost around $11 while the Loctite was $7. I think it's just the name that is jackin' up the price. LOL
