It depends really

Like i like sealed setups, therefore i OVERPOWER my subs

Fatman like ported so if he wants he can underpower his subs.

Two completely dif sounds though. Most people want ported because its easier.

Well what I plan on doing is just replacing the door speakers and rear deck speakers, and putting a sub box in the trunk. I just want what would sound loud, but not stupid loud. same with the subs, not stupid so you cant even understand the words.

It really comes down to budget and shopping around. You can get s cheap entry level setup for $200-300 and itll sound fine unless you really want to throw down some power.

Alpine has a new enclosed type r 8 that is supposed to do pretty well and take minimum space and its only 350ish rms .. but yeap something like an infinity basslink may be a good option for you aswell ... just really depends what your after

Not to thread jack but what do you guys think of the 5 channel alpine amps? I think it's the mrv 70? That one amp would make things simple and should have a clean sound.
