Default 1993 del sol si

I just got a sol last weekend and it has an aftermarket radio in only problem is I can't hear any sound. The radio looks like it is working right I just can't eat anything! Someone?

One of the speaker wires is probably grounding out and the radio is in a kind of safe mode

Grounding out on the back of the radio? Thanks for the input! I kept reading about some wire for a factory amp could cause an issue?

Doubt the sol has a factory amp .. chances are if the speakers are grounding out its probably in the doors ... ive had that problem before .. but honestly theres alot of th8ngs that could cause your problem

It was actually set to sat radio not fm took like 45 min to figure out how to change it! Thanks guys!

Lol I had an eclipse cd player you damn near needed a degree to operate .. it sucks

Yea no kidding its crazy! I still don't know how to turn the volume up/down without using te remote haha

ok i still cant get the volume knob to work.... I can only use the remote to turn it up and down. Anyone know what the problem might be? The book says it should turn it up and down but it doesnt. Just to add the passenger side window control was put in upside down soooo that being said maybe its a wiring issue?

The volume knob on the headunit is bad.
