Yea josh don't buy those lol .. you just want a little boom there's some less known brands it there you could get a decent setup for cheap ... What's your budget ... And as a tip stay away from big box store brands ( kicker,jl audio ,mtx ect ) not because they are bad just over priced and if I'm reading the hints right you just want a little extra bass and probably don't want to spend a fortune on it .. am I correct ?

Well I'm looking to spend 300 or so on everything. 100-150 on the woof. The same with the amp butbi knownnothing of rms and peak. What kind of amp I would need. Plua I'm not looking to take the entire hatch area up with a monster box. Would I need a cap? I know literally diddly sqaut about any of this.

Ok so there's an assload of questions in there lol ... 1 watts will depend on sub choice , 2 box for what your after won't be huge as I would recommend a smaller sealed box ( depending on what you listen too ) , caps I don't like so I won't mess with that one lol , the same people that make my 18 you seen offer a smallish amp and a entry level 12 .. the sub is 70$ and the amp is 200$ ... I think it would fulfil your desires , be easy on the wallet and also easy on the electrical, a simple big three upgrade and you should be set , no extra batteries or alts , there are also other routes you can take but I realize your not after the kind of output I am so building a budget system for you is much easier than for me lol

I actually do have a small setup you might be interested in buddy , might even have the wires , also have some decent speakers I could let go of , I gots lots of stereo stuff lol might just load up a couple things and come down so you can check em out and see if you'd want any of it ... Also the brand of my 18 is audioque. They are changing to soundqubed but if you go to audioque.com it'll still come up

If you like metal dont do a vented/ported setup.

Sealed sounds 1008843525x mo betta in sealed setups.
