Its always nice to have the hookup

But as far as the wire goes I agree about the knuconcepts..Never had any problems with burning wire ect ect..

And props to wanting decent numbers on music! I mean who cares what number you hit on a tone, cause i'm pretty sure you don't ride around listening to tones..

Lol I bump some tones every now and then when I'm cruising ... But only because I have a few test tones of certain kind of notes that I just love haha ... I never cared about numbers period I just keep tearing down my system and doing it again cuz my ears say " need mo bass " not because some meter says it ... Although I would like to get it metered just for shit and giggles ... I may break down and bit a termlab setup

Its the point in having a system you are gonna listen to music, not to mention i always respected people getting on the meter playing music instead of tones

I used to be into competition but now I just like quality lol. I have 2 Focal carbon fiber 10s under the backseat of my truck with Arc Audio 6x8s and an Arc Audio 800.5 and a Pioneer AVH-P2400BT

I had 4 12s in a wall in my EM2 that hit 144.8 on a TermLab but it was tuned at 25hz for ground pounding lol

I put 2 DD 9512s in it with a big ass Shuriken battery, 2 AQ 3500.1, Kicker HyperFlex 0ga, and a stock alternator lol it hit 148.1, I was pretty proud of that considering it was in the trunk...it was also tuned at 55hz lol

Mechman makes a good alt...we've always had pretty good success with Ohio Generator as well, had a couple of those on our competition Explorer (2 HCCA 15s, 2 3000.1 Audiopipes, 4 school bus batteries....151.4dB)

Robert I've considered taking my backseat out and putting 4 15s in my extended cab area just for shits n giggles haha

IMO hitting above a 150db on tones is ehh okay you did it playing a single note but hitting above a 150 on everyday unedited music is a completely different world..

and rick not alot of people venture below 30hz me personally i love it, I will never build another box tuned higher than 28hz for my personal vehicle..Granted there are plus' and minus' for instance alot of songs sound like straight shit because the notes are 3 or 4 octaves above the box tuning..But slowed music sounds better to me anyways

I do love stupid low bass that you feel more than you hear lol ... The kind that makes it hard to breath ... I just wish I had the tools and time to build a box for my new 15 :/
